PLTS79BT 7 Inch Motorized Monitor Bluetooth Buy it at your own risk

Great for the price... but some anoying things to be considered, I just installed my new Pyle few days ago, so i do not have a deep review, but i will give you my feed back so far.

The good.
* Well done, i mean, looks really god (does not look cheap).
* Nice image crisp and clear. Some quick access options for bright or dark days, and a complete set up menu to configure it.
* Good sound, a lot of output wiring options, including two rear video outputs, so you will upgrade your video with two more monitors if you like, without extra accesories.
* Wire harness included... in my case, Pyle included a harness that match my car connectors, so great bonus. Easy to mount, and easy to connect (by pass) the parking brake wire.
* USB and SD Card options.
* Plays the most common audio and video formats, including Divx for video and Windows media for songs.

The bad:
* The screen blocks the middle air conditioning vents, so most of the time the screen is inside (i live in a very hot place). That is why you really depends of the remote. One basic operation like forward or backward is not available on the panel. So, the only way to get it is with the screen or the remote.
* There is a "beep" any time you use the volume control...
Bad product,
radio, Didn't want to chance installing my self so paid to have it installed. Works great. the phone on it is great for a no hands way to talk . Son was very please, the screen is crisp and clear. Of course he was disappointed that a movie could not be playing while car is in drive. Safety feature here in PA. But over all well worth it than spending 5-6 hundred at an audio place.
Pyle Radio, Thank you for asking for my opinion about his products, I feel consent to the sending of the article, and to the awaited quality, my expecttivas have been satisfied ...
The screen came with fault,
Buy it at your own risk, PYLE PLTS79BT 7-Inch Single DIN In-Dash Motorized Touch Screen TFT/LCD Monitor with DVD/CD/MP3/MP4/USB/SD/AM-FM/RDS/Bluetooth and Screen Dial Pad

This stereo was given as a gift, it is not bad, but not good either.

-The good:

*The Bluetooth is very nice a clear didn't have a problem using it and the voice recognition worked flawlessly on my Android phone.

*It doesn't look cheap and the detachable face is good to have; however, having a red LED blinking after the face is removed is not a good thing when you don't want to bring attention to your parked car.

*The radio works nice and you can program you favorite station really easy.

*Has a lot of inputs/outputs so you can plug in more monitors, camera, subwoofer etc.

*The screen is pretty decent, nice image and is responsive not perfect but better than other I have used

-The bad:

*Very few settings, as far as I'm concerned I couldn't find basic settings which can be found in entry level Pioneer stereos, like loudness, high pass filters, etc.

*You cannot turn off some things like the beeping sound on the volume, and the stereo is useless with the screen closed, you have to use the remote to change songs.

*The screen wobbles a lot when open (see the paragraph below for explanation)

*It is NOT IPOD ready, this means you cannot plug an iPod and use the an interface in the screen to control it, even if it shows and iPod icon you cannot select it i will show "IPod not supported" I don't know if you need to buy something extra, tried contacting support and never got a call back or email back. The only way to use an iPod is to use a dual male 3.
It was NOT as I spected, This radio is not like I thought. It has a lot of design defects:
1.- You can tilt the angle of the screen from 6 (SIX) different buttons, but you can not change the song or the radio station from any button if the screen is closed !!! Only by the remote control !!! But 6 buttons for tilting that make the same thing...
2.- Touch screen buttons in radio mode are not helpful.
3.- The cover that "protects" the CD/DVD compartment stocks inside my system. I need it to make magic things to get it out of there...
4.- Price is not expensive...
Not a Pyle of junk!, I kid about the name, but this dvd player works really well in my car! I love the touch screen and the remote works great! I have had it for about 3 months and I haven't had any problems with it. It was a reasonable price and I am very happy with it.
CD didn't work, Everthing worked fine except the CD. It didn't load the CD - had to return it.
Touch screen not very fast but OK speed. Like most DVD players - you need an adaptor to use ur USB flash drive. Jensen has the regular USB drive already installed to illiminate this extra piece of hardware.
2 reasons to purchase - The Screen is detachable and the price is OK.
2 reasons not to purchase - Slow touchscreen and u don't know if the CD will work until u install.
